I am just adding to my last comment, since i last posted i have been all but crured or cervical cancer through a complete hysterectomy( all but my overaries) i just wanted to say it was so nice to see actual pictures of what i am/was going through and i really hope your project is seen by all women. it is a real wake up call when you find out you have a “female” problem. Ever one always says oh its just oncea a month and a few cramps but as you have researched and we have seen it is much more than that. I amjust thankful my docters ar proactive in helping find the HPV viris and diagnosing other Problems. thank you again for all the insight on your Beautiful Cervix Project. dawn

I had cryo done when I was 17 years old. It was a rough few weeks afterwards and I was told I may have a difficult time conceiving afterwards. Since I was so young I didn’t see a problem with this. I am 30 years old now and I have since had 2 children. If you are going through this, don’t stress. I have had normal paps ever since I had this done with absolutely no lasting effects from it. Lots of luck to all!

Thanks for the pictures i just went through an abnormal pap, a colposcopy, and a LEEP. Now i am be seen by a cancer specialist just to make sure eerything is Hopefully Gone! Your pictures and stories sre a real help. i mean there’s no way a mirror can show me what u did.

Hi is just want to say I like your site very much and I hope you continue with the projects. I am more interested in this as I have been diagnosed with genital warts a few months ago.

QUESTION: Seeing this picture with mild dysplasia.. if IN CASE I try to touch it.. will I “feel” a bumpy texture of the part of the cervix where dysplasia is??

I know some sites may say “you cannot FEEL dysplasia” but.. WOMEN KNOW THEIR BODIES BETTER.. I’ve been “feeling” my cervix.. (or i think that was my cervix) ever SINCE my diagnosis.. the first few months feel like it’s SOFT and WET and SMOOTH with no bumpy feel at all. However.. JUST THIS MONTH.. there’s a feeling of TINY SHARP BUMPS! They may probably be too tiny.. I could only feel it when I put PRESSURE on my finger so I can feel the bumps..

What is your thought on this? I’ve been taking the pill for three months now.

I just had cryosurgery and am in my two weeks of healing. I’ve been feeling very depressed about the whole thing but seeing what the doctor has seen, has helped me feel a little better about having to have the procedure done. Thank-you:)
