  1. Hello! I’m very excited to start my own Beautiful Cervix project at home! I think this is just a wonderful concept, and it made me realize that I have never even FELT my own cervix, let alone seen it. A tragedy! Anyway, I just completed an order for an exam kit, but I was wondering – is there any way for me to track the shipping on my package? Thank you for your time. :)

  2. How do you know whether you need medeium or long?

Long: Same width as Medium; for women whose cervix is normally deep (hard to reach with a finger). You may prefer a long if a practitioner has mentioned you have a particularly deep cervix before during an exam. Most women are fine with a Medium.

  3. This from a satisfied customer: “Thank you SO much for my self-exam kit! I saw the first blood of my new cycle from inside my body yesterday! A profound kind of bearing witness to my cycles. I’m so grateful and very curious about continuing to connect to my body this way.”

  4. I never really thought about my cervix until I happened to come across this website, which is very educational and inspiring. I ordered the cervical exam kit and once I recieved it I couldn’t wait to take a look. I had to get the long because I couldn’t feel my cervix with my finger and even though I never had kids it wasn’t at all to big. I actually for the first time seen what the gyno sees when their down there and it was really liberating and exciting. Thank you My beautiful cervix for giving us women the opportunity and knowledge.

  5. I would hate to get Medium and have it end up being too short, can someone who is normally a Medium use a Long? Won’t it just stick out a little, or is it impossible? Thanks!

Yes, a long is the same width as a medium and it would stick out a bit, but might be a little less comfortable. If you can reach your cervix with your finger in your vagina, a medium will probably be just fine.

  6. I stumbled across this website yesterday I have to say this is beautiful! I’ve had 4 pregnancies (only one living child) and I’ve never even touched my own cervix. After I saw this website it inspired me and I immediately washed my hands and checked my cervix. It feels good to be able to say I can check my own cervix. My husband and I are still trying for baby number 2 so I guess it high time I get to know my body. I’ll be ordering my self exam kit today! I can’t wait!

  9. Does the kit ship in discrete packaging?

    beautifulcervix Reply:

The kit comes in a white box. There is a return address on the kit that says Beautiful Cervix Project and has our logo. If you’d like a kit without the return address, please email beautifulcervix@gmail.com after you place your order and I can arrange for that. Thanks!

  10. A recent email from a satisfied user: “I am trying my first at home insemination this weekend. After trying for weeks to view my cervix using a speculum, floor length mirror and the flashlight on my phone and being unsuccessful, a nurse at the fertility clinic directed me to your website. I ordered your kit and received it today. After reading the instruction booklet and using the new equipment, I was finally able to get a look at my cervix for the first time! Thank you to you and your website. While my chances for a successful insemimation are small, I feel that much more confident after being able to see my cervix and the Os. Now I know exactly where to aim!”

  11. I recently found this page and I had some questions. Back in march I had a leep done I started bleed the next day and I knew that was normal but its been three weeks and I amstil spottinq dropping clots here and the.a week after the surgery my doctor started me on some meds cuz he say it looked like vaginosis.well today I did a self exam and felt my cervix was low and felt kinda swollen and also there was a rough spot before I was able to reach my cervix. It kinda hurt when I touched it and it also feels like the rough part is dry or rubbery. Is this normal? Also when I took my finger out I had what looked like a piece of skin it was pink and looked very moist.

  13. So excited to get my kit in the mail! How long should shipping in the U.S. take?

I recently started charting my cycle and this will be a huge part of it. I’ve never been physically comfortable with Gyn exams and I hope self-examination will also improve future exams.
