Nabothian Cyst

This is a photo of a woman on day 11 of her typically 30 to 31 day cycle. She has had three births via cesarean section, though with her first, she did dilate to 6 cm before the c-section. Six months before this photo was taken, she had an ectopic pregnancy at 9 weeks with removal of right fallopian tube. More recently, she had a miscarriage at 6 weeks due to low progesterone and is currently on Clomid. In picture you can see a Nabothian cyst above her os. Nabothian cysts are mucous filled and can generally be felt as a small firm bump on the surface of the cervix. They are generally benign and resolve on their own.
